Last weekend, I was lucky enough to plan a wedding at the brides family home on 120 acres in Garrison, New York. The photographer, Andrea Fischman, kindly sent me a few preview shots, and just had to share. Hudson Valley is dreamy, and I’m still basking in the glorious afterglow.
Antonia’s dress from Mark Ingram, veil from Bridal Veil Falls, bouquet by Hudson Valley floral designers Steven Bruce Designs (they work in NYC too).Something borrowed, something Choo. Jimmy Choo, that is. The earrings are borrowed from the brides mother. Lovely! The happy couple leaving historic St. Phillps Church in the Highlands. Such a beautiful Church, it needed very little adornment. Just a little something blue….Blue Toile napkins are a nod to the brides grandmother. Local honey doubles as a favor and place card holder. Everything on the menu was farm to table, by Hudson Valley caterers Main Course.Family photos adorn the tent wall, draped in cheese cloth and grosgrain ribbon in hues of blue. Guests are invited to “Take yourself home”.Lighting played a key role. Trees next to the tent and around the perimeter of the property were uplit for drama and depth. The morning after, reading their mention in the Sunday times.
Congratulations, Antonia and Thad. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your very special weekend.
